The most expensive beef in the world due to the way it's raised and the very limited amounts of cattle available, it's truly a luxurious food that is unparalleled in taste.
Our A5 offering hails from the southern island of Kyushu, in the prefecture of Kumamoto, Japan. Grazing freely around the bottom of the volcano Mt Aso, the herd is limited to a population of less than 60,000. Kumamoto Wagyu has naturally enhanced marbling throughout but given it's free grazing nature, it's a little leaner than other A5 varieties which lends a slightly more balanced yet intensely buttery umami taste.
